From the 3rd GMS Public Health Conference in Vientiane


The 3rd International Conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional Countries is now going on (9-10 Aug 2011) at the ICTC in Vientiane, Laos under the theme "Global Preventive Public Health Challenges among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional Countries”. See agenda attached. Pic above is from the openning ceremony.

The Conference Room is packed with over 300 participants from all GMS and other countries. If you are wondering what does GMS (Greater Mekong Subregion) include, they are: Cambodia, China (Yunnan), Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Everyone who signed up to be HealthSpace.Asia member gets a small souvenir (a HSA pen). If you are lucky enough you will get our beautiful cap like these new members. We have to say our HSA cap is arguably the most popular item people want to get at this Conference :)
