I have acquired experience in clinical medicine, administration, teaching, and research over the past 13 years. I believe that the experience I have gathered in the fields of research, public health, hospital administration, medicine, public relation, and communication by volunteering in different organizations coupled with extensive and diverse field work since my days as an undergraduate student will help me understand and serve the organization effectively.
I led a research project titled “Unmet need for contraceptive methods among married reproductive age women of slums in Dhaka, Bangladesh”. This project investigated a range of issues associated with women’s health, education, available financial contribution, empowerment within the family, etc.
Apart from this, I have also led several public health-related projects. In addition, I was and still am actively involved in organizing numerous medical camps as well as managing a group of medical professionals interested in providing free health service at the rural, suburban as well as urban levels.
